TICKETS are on sale for MAD-Aid’s annual summer gala – an Isle of Wight cocktail party with a twist.

Now in its second year, the family-friendly event will be held at Rookley Village Hall on Saturday, June 24.

Guests can join the East Cowes-based charity for a night of games, magic, and entertainment by local and international bands and musicians, including Fusion Party Band.

There will also be a charity auction, a raffle, face-painting for children, and an opportunity to dance the night away.


Tickets are limited and are on sale until June 15.

Guests can expect a tropical summer theme and will be treated to a cocktail/mocktail on arrival, all the food they can eat, and a wealth of entertainment and activities, including a bouncy castle.

The event starts at 5pm.

All the proceeds will go to MAD-Aid’s international programmes in Moldova and the Ukraine.

These include renovating a neonatal surgery ward, which has not been upgraded since 1986 and is now in a dilapidated state.
