Pyle Street in Newport has reopened this afternoon (Saturday), after the earlier closure by Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary.
A woman and child, who were pedestrians, were taken to hospital after a collision.
Isle of Wight police were called just before 12.30pm.
A white campervan was removed from the road around an hour later.
The police force says no-one was arrested.
