AN ISLE of Wight man accused of drink driving in Brighstone is questioning whether he had been given a statutory warning, and if the breathalyser had been properly calibrated.
William Walker-Wavell, of Brook Road, Calbourne, appeared before Isle of Wight magistrates on Tuesday, May 9.
The 42-year-old denied drink driving in Brighstone, on April 22.
He is alleged to have driven a Land Rover on Brighstone Road, registering a breath-alcohol reading of 101 when the legal limit is 35.
Mr Walker-Wavell saw his case adjourned for a pre-trial and preparation hearing at Portsmouth Magistrates' Court on June 20. A trial was fixed for July 12.
