A COUNTY Press reader took these pictures in the aftermath of a suspected landslip near Nettlestone this morning (Friday).

Keith Bradford made the discovery at approximately 9.30am, at Priory Bay; a small, privately-owned bay on the northeast coast of the Island.

It is not the first time a landslip has been reported in the area.

Last March, footpath R89 in Priory Woods, near Nodes Point, had to be closed as a result of a collapse.

A considerable section of land looks to have fallen away.

A spokesperson for the Isle of Wight Council said the landslip is not new and no footpaths have been impacted.
