EMERGENCY service teams are responding to a fire at a hotel in Sandown this afternoon (Monday).
UPDATE: The incident is being treated as arson.
At approximately 1.30pm, fire crews from Sandown and Shanklin were called to the scene at the junction of Broadway and Winchester Park Road.
They are tackling a shed fire at the back of the Parkbury Hotel which has spread to a nearby fence.
A spokesperson for the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service said the shed is well alight and the incident is ongoing.
UPDATE:
Firefighters have quickly brought the fire under control.
