The search is on this lunchtime (Sunday, February 5) for the owner of an orange iguana found on a main Isle of Wight road.
The lizard was spotted at the side of Middle Road (Calbourne Road), towards Calbourne, at around 11am this morning.
Sadly, the pet has been run over.
A post has been shared on an Island lost pets Facebook page, hoping to locate the owner and inform them of the sad news.
