The owners of a family-run business, between Newport and Carisbrooke, are closing their popular Isle of Wight eatery.

JJ's Take-Out will shut its doors on February 25.

In a social media post, its owners said: "After three years, due to personal reasons, we are closing.

"Sadly, being a family run business, we are unable to put in the hours needed to keep the business growing."

"Staffing has always been an issue like most businesses have found."

JJ's Take-Out sells burgers, chips and pizza, from its base on Whitepit Lane, Newport.

It is hoped someone new will step in to take on the business, which its owners have described as 'fantastic.'

They said: "We feel it needs someone who can put in more hours: open early for breakfast and later in the evenings."

Does that sound like a challenge for you? JJ's Take-Out's owners have asked interested Islanders to message them for more information.
