ARE you looking to get a Covid vaccination?

Solent NHS Trust is no longer providing the service for the Isle of Wight, but there's still availability, at the vaccination hub at St Mary's Hospital.

Children, from Years 5 to 12, can book to have a Covid vaccination at the children's outpatients department.

A half-term clinic will run on February 13, 16 and 17.

Children over 16 are welcome to "walk in" to the hub (in south block) on Mondays and Thursdays between 7.40am and 1pm.

For adults, there are two booster doses of the coronavirus vaccine you may be able to get:

  • a first booster for everyone aged 16 and over, and some people aged 12 to 15 who are at high risk, once they have completed their primary vaccination course
  • a seasonal booster (autumn booster) for some people, including those aged 50 years or over, those at high risk or who are pregnant, and frontline health and social care workers

If you've not had a first booster dose yet, you're still eligible and can book anytime. If you're eligible for both, you only need one booster during the autumn.
