Heavy rainfall has led to further landslips between Sandown to Shanklin, closing part of the revetment.

Recent weather has caused debris to come tumbling down the cliff.

In similar scenes to last week, the cliff fall has seen beach huts near the Salix Cafe pushed forward.

The popular walkway only re-opened on Friday (13), after around 400 tonnes of debris fell.

The council is warning Islanders to avoid walking, running or cycling along the route.

A spokesperson said: "Cliff falls can take place at any time.

"Please proceed with caution when in the area."
