The farm originates from the early 1700s whilst the barn was converted from a traditional farm outbuilding in 2012 and converted to domestic use as a holiday home and has been operating as a holiday let, yielding an attractive return.

Stanwell Barn offers an ideal luxury getaway for gathering family with an incredible 15-metre long open-plan living room, in addition to four bedrooms, three of which being excellent doubles and three bathrooms.

Entry is via the original coach entrance, while the kitchen incorporates stone tile floors and a full range of Shaker-style under-counter and wall-mounted storage units with space and plumbing for a large range cooker with extractor over.

There's an integrated grill and microwave, dishwasher and space and plumbing for a fridge/freezer with water dispenser, as well a breakfast bar.

The open-plan living area is an incredible room boasting impressive, vaulted ceilings with plenty of natural light pouring through three large Velux windows and the original timber beam structure still visible along with all of the stone barn walls.

To one end there is a substantial integrated fireplace and inglenook as well as access to a downstairs WC and a spiral staircase to upper viewing platform and storage cupboard.

The barn also benefits from underfloor heating throughout the ground floor.

Bedroom four is a single bedroom with plenty of space for hanging clothes and access to the garden.

There's a family bathroom with shower enclosure with P-shaped bath with shower over, a vintage-style pedestal washbasin and WC.

To the front of the property is driveway parking for several cars with an enclosed and child-safe garden with westerly aspect.

Set against a backdrop of Culver Down and within the Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Stanwell Barn is within ten minutes walk of Whiteclif Bay and offers some amazing nearby coastal and downland walking routes.

It is also located within five to ten-minute walk of three country pubs and is particularly unique because it is situated approximately one mile from the local village of Bembridge with its family-run butchers, café, fishmongers, farm shop, eco refill shop, pubs and convenience store.
