ISLE of Wight emergency services are at the scene of a crash on the outskirts of Newport this evening (Wednesday, December 21).
The collision happened on Staplers Road, between Solent Grange Nursing Home and the Island Riding Centre.
At least two vehicles are involved, a Ford Fiesta and Land Rover Freelander.
Staplers Road and Whiterails Road have been closed by police (Staplers Road by Pan Meadows, leading to Long Lane, remains open).
Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary and Fire and Rescue have been contacted for a statement.
