The Isle of Wight County Press Wight Warmers Knit-in continues apace and your hard work and creativity has meant we have already had more than 100 donations!

Blankets, scarves and hats will help keep vulnerable Islanders warm this winter.

We are well on the way to meeting our challenge to gather 200 warm items by Christmas and the plan is to distribute them, via Isle of Wight charities and organisations.

The project aims to support Islanders facing rising energy costs and the cost of living crisis - with many choosing between heating and eating.
