Red Funnel is warning it will be running a one-boat Isle of Wight car ferry service today as problems continue with the aft engine on Red Falcon.

Red Eagle is out of service for scheduled repairs so only Red Osprey is in service.
Passengers are being urged to check Red Funnel's live service page for latest updates.
Ferries have been cancelled for the past two days due to the engine problem.

A spokesperson for Red Funnel said: “We are experiencing delays to our vehicle ferry service due to an issue with Red Falcon’s aft main engine.
"Engineers are currently working hard to resolve the issue and restore Red Falcon, but until we are able to do that, we expect delays to our service.
"We apologise for this unexpected disruption and are working hard to bring Red Falcon back to service as quickly as possible.
"We expect to issue another update before noon today.”
