TWO people have been injured following a two-vehicle crash on Forest Road this morning (Thursday, November 24).
Police were called at 8.55am, to reports of a collision on the main Newport road, on Vittlefields Cross.
Officers arrived at the scene, where two people were treated by paramedics.
Fire crews from Newport were also sent to the collision just after 9am and made the scene safe before leaving at around 9.30am.
Forest Road has since reopened.
Southern Vectis' route seven via Shalfleet will operate as normal, and its Newbridge route will divert via Gunville Road due to the Calbourne Road closure for Southern Water works.
