SCHOOLS, groups and individuals across the Isle of Wight are fundraising for Children in Need today - and some have already done their bit.
Yesterday, Bembridge CE Primary pupils and staff dressed up to raise money for Children in Need. They raised £200 and had lots of fun in the process.
Elizabeth Chambers, headteacher, said: "It is one of our annual events which always brings a smile to so many faces and is for a good cause.
"Learning to give to those in need is part of our curriculum and we have a very generous community."
On Wednesday, Lanesend Primary School in Cowes received a special surprise visit from Pudsey to celebrate Children in Need.
Organised by Clare Jones, the Asda Community Champion, and Cameron's mum, Charlotte, the visit brought lots of smiles and excitement to children across the school.
Photos were taken with every class and Cameron, who is one of Pudsey's biggest fans, was delighted to introduce him to his friends.
The school is looking forward to raising lots of money for Children in Need today.
Yesterday we reported that ten-year-old Wesley Brett-Hill, from Shalfleet, is holding a second hand sale for Children in Need.
