I wrote to you a while back about the proposed 100 acre solar farm on productive agricultural land in Thorley.  

I have now just seen anarticle about the French government requiring all car parks with more than 80 spaces to build solar panels above them. 

Wouldn't this be an excellent idea for the Isle of Wight?

If the money is available for investment in solar, where better to house the panels than industrialising our countryside.
