A NITON man has been arrested after another man was threatened with a knife in an attempted robbery in Sandown last night (Saturday, November 12).
Police were called at 10.08pm to a report of an attempted robbery incident in Station Avenue.
It was reported that a man in his 40s was threatened with a knife.
A 37-year-old man from Niton has been arrested on suspicion of attempted robbery and possession of a controlled class B drug.
He remains in custody, and police enquiries are ongoing.
