AN INTREPID trio from an Isle of Wight digital branding agency are to take on the ten-mile Great South Run today in aid of Mountbatten Isle of Wight.

Ryde-based Peekaboo is sending managing director Brett White, together with colleagues Darren Brook and Tom Fallick, to do the run in Portsmouth for charity.

All of the trio have some connection with the hospice and have seen first-hand the amazing work Mountbatten does here on the Isle of Wight.

Of the three, Darren has done the Great South Run before and is excited to be re-entering this year alongside his colleagues.

  • ALSO TAKING PART IS SUE CULLUM:

Sue, from Shanklin, is a member of Love Running Tuesday Nighters and is raising money for Medecins sans Frontières.

She has been a runner for many years and has done the Great Suth Run before, but chose to run for Medecins sans Frontières this year because she said she felt so helpless observing all the horrendous things going on in the world - and in particular in Ukraine at present.

She added: "MSF personnel have the expertise and skills to make a real difference to peoples' lives, while risking their own in such dangerous situations.  It feels like a small thing that I can do to support their work."
