A NEWPORT man is under investigation after he was arrested in the early hours of this morning (Tuesday) in Ryde.
Police were called at 1.03am following reports of a disturbance on Argyll Street, near All Saints Church.
A 24-year-old man from Newport was arrested on suspicion of being drunk and disorderly.
He has since been released under investigation.
