An Isle of Wight pub is in the running to win a Great British Pub award today (Tuesday).
The Red Lion in Freshwater has won a nomination in the Best Chef category.
Sean Jeffers faces competition from chefs in London, Suffolk, Somerset, Norfolk and Lancashire.
A ceremony is being held in Manchester tonight, where the winners will be revealed.

In July, Sean told the Isle of Wight County Press: "I am privileged to be shortlisted for such an award alongside the wonderful team at The Red Lion.
"It is great to have my work recognised and have so much support from everyone at the pub and all the customers who thoroughly enjoy the food.
"The Great British Pub Awards is such a big event for the pub industry, and it is an achievement in itself being nominated within these prestigious awards."
Russell Kane will host tonight's awards at a venue called Escape to Freight Island.
