Two vehicles and a jet ski had to be pulled from an Isle of Wight beach at Shanklin earlier today (Sunday).

Officers from Hampshire Constabulary, and rescue teams from HM Coastguard were on scene for the operation, near Fisherman's Cottage.

It drew a crowd after the vehicles got caught on the beach when the tide turned.

On Facebook, Isle of Wight police said: "There were no casualties or injuries, just some wet vehicles, thankfully."
