While some Isle of Wight venues will close on Bank Holiday Monday, the day of the Queen's funeral, others will open to allow Islanders and visitors to watch the sombre scenes together.

The ceremony will be broadcast live, but some will be unable to watch at home, or would prefer to sit with others while the poignant event is happening.

A number of Island businesses say they will open, to allow us to pay our respects to Queen Elizabeth II together.

The State Funeral will take place from 11am on Monday, September 19.
