The eight-stage Tour of Britain finishes on the Isle of Wight on Sunday and scores of people are expected to line the verges, excited to watch the competitors go past.

UPDATE: Following the death of The Queen, this event has now been cancelled

Be warned! Road closures and diversions mean you will have to plan ahead and you may need to be prepared to be at your chosen spot for a while - until the roads reopen again.

The 150km route takes in much of the Island, so there will be a vantage point near you.

There is also live tv coverage, if you are unable to get out and see it in person.

Across the eight stages - from Scotland to the Isle of Wight - over one million spectators are expected to turn out to see the elite racers.

If you want to be among them, there are vantage points across the Island, but diversions and road closures mean it might be tricky to get to your favourite spot and you might not be able to leave immediately afterwards.

The National Trust says its Military Road car parks will be open at Brook, Compton, Compton Chine and Freshwater (charges apply).

Parking on the verges is not allowed.

The Trust's Needles Old Battery will be open on the day (10.30am-5pm), however the New Battery (where the race is due to finish at around 2pm) will be closed.
