AN ISLE of Wight community will hold a bike decoration competition as it seeks to brighten up its street for the Tour of Britain finale in September.

The final leg of the tour will be on Sunday, September 11, when around 100 of the world’s best cyclists will take on the 150-kilometre route.

Competitors will hit speeds of around 40mph on sections of the course - which will weave around the Island, taking in Sandown, Cowes, Niton and Freshwater, Newport and more.
