A POLICE investigation has been launched after a man was allegedly caught filming a boy on an Isle of Wight beach.
Hampshire Constabulary received a report of a suspicious incident at Sandown beach yesterday afternoon (Friday, August 13).
The reported incident happened between the Beach Shack and Sandown Inshore Rescue, just off the Esplanade.
A witness said a man was allegedly filming the boy while his parent was changing his shorts.
The parent reported the man to police for filming her son without permission.
A spokesperson from Hampshire Constabulary said: "If anyone witnessed the incident or has any information that could help, please contact police on 101 quoting 44220327576."
