AN ISLE of Wight waffle business has announced it will cease operations after the August bank holiday (August 29).

Established in the summer of 2021 by owner Alison Smith, Everyday I’m Wafflin offers made-to-order bubble waffles and waffles on a stick, inviting customers to choose from its menu or pic n mix their own toppings.

Based in Cowes, its catering van could be spotted at events, festivals and private functions across the Island.

Alison told her customers that Everyday I’m Wafflin is not her main job, and she is unable to commit as much time as needed to keep her business going.

She said: “It is with a heavy heart that I have decided that once this season is over, I will be closing Everyday I’m Wafflin.

“We still have Jack Up this weekend, the Garlic Festival next week and Ticket to Ryde August bank holiday weekend, but that will be our last outing.

“Make sure you come and grab your waffles whilst you can.”

The van will be up for sale, newly kitted out with electrics, lighting and worktops this year, contact Alison through the Everyday I’m Wafflin Facebook page HERE.
