POPULAR close harmony vocal group Company B-UK are holding their second event — Summertime Swing.

Since forming, the group have performed across England, Monaco and Florida with their own take on 1940s swing, influenced by The Andrews Sisters.

Their new show follows the huge success of their first event, Jingle Bell Jive, in December 2019.

Summertime Swing is at Freshwater Memorial Hall on Friday, August 19, at 7.30pm.

It will be a 1940s-styled evening full of summer fun, including performances from London-based jazz musicians and tutorials with the Newport Lindy Hoppers.

Company B-UK combines the individual talents of Natalie Aghajanian, Harriet Back and Thea Callaghan.

They said: "We would like to encourage as many of you as possible to 'boogie on down' and help celebrate summer — It don’t mean a thing if you ain’t at Summertime Swing!

"Come along in a vintage styled outfit to have a chance of winning a special prize too.

"Be prepared for toe-tapping performances, brought up-to-date with a nostalgic twist."
