Tailbacks are reported heading to and from Cowes this afternoon (Saturday).
TAILBACKS are reported between Newport and Cowes this afternoon (Saturday, August 6) due to temporary traffic lights.
Two-way lights are active on Parkhurst Road, at the bottom of Horsebridge Hill, near St Mary’s Hospital.
SGN engineers are working on an emergency gas repair.
Southern Vectis has reported tailbacks in both directions and delays of around 30 minutes on its route one service between Cowes and Newport.
UPDATE (3.50pm): Tailbacks have cleared heading towards Newport, however queues remain for those travelling to Cowes this afternoon.
