THERE'S been concern in Bonchurch over a drone flying close to houses.

Police have asked that people report their sightings, after a drone was seen near to property windows and hovering over gardens.

A Hampshire Constabulary spokesperson said: "We’ve received reports, on August 2 and August 4, of suspicious drone activity in the Bonchurch area.

"The local Neighbourhoods Policing Team have been made aware and we encourage people to continue to report any concerns around this activity to us."

Police on patrol have been in and around Shore Road and spoke to residents about the issue, according to the village Facebook page.
