Wight Proms is back next week, with six days of shows and big name headliners.

Set at Northwood Park, there's something for everyone, and the chance to take a picnic or order a hamper for dining in style.

Multi award-winning and hugely popular children’s TV show Horrible Histories will be live on stage on Tuesday, August 16.

The Terrible Tudors will showcase the horrible Henries to the end of evil Elizabeth.

The next day, Wednesday, August 17, Wight Proms debuts Isle of Pride in association with Isle of Wight Pride.

Join stars of the phenomenon that is RuPaul Drag Race UK, drag queens Ella Vaday, Choriza May and Kitty Scott-Claus as they sashay into Cowes for 'One Night Only' with their huge personalities, comedy chaos and jaw-dropping vocals.

Hosted by the Island's very own drag queen Quivers with music by DJ Snacks, the gates will stay open late for partying after the show.

Prepare to be wowed by Krysia Mansfield’s performance as the iconic Joe Carstairs, the feisty “fastest woman on water” who had a boatyard in East Cowes. The show features music by Krysia Mansfield herself, as well as songs by KD Lang, Pet Shop Boys and Duran Duran.

Out On An Island also presents readings and poems, sharing real life stories from the Isle of Wight’s LGBTQ+ community and looks back at 100 years of LGBTQ+ history connected to the Island.

On Thursday, August 18, is Isle of Opera, hosted by TV presenter Penny Smith.

The gala will showcase some of the best-loved arias, transporting you to the world of Verdi, Puccini, Mozart and more.

Featuring soprano Lucy Anderson, mezzo Maggie Cooper, tenor Jack Dolan and baritone Rory Musgrave, and accompanied by James Longford.

On Friday, August 19, it is A Wight Laugh, headlined by comedy legend Julian Clary with his show Born to Mince.

Saturday, August 20, is Wight at the Musicals, featuring the combined talents of Jonathan Ansell, G4 frontman, and Jai McDowall, Britain's Got Talent winner.

Expect a dramatic and spine-tingling concert, a vocally dynamic evening showcasing smash-hit songs from the greatest musicals of all time.

Immerse yourself into the world of musical theatre with classics from Les Miserables, Phantom Of The Opera, Wicked, Jesus Christ Superstar, The Greatest Showman, Miss Saigon, Chess, We Will Rock You and more.

The weekend will climax in a rousing celebration of British music and flag-waving at Last Wight of the Proms on Sunday, August 21, including Pomp and Circumstance and Jerusalem.

The night stars multi-platinum selling X-Factor stars G4, including frontman Jonathan Ansell and Island resident Mike Christie, Wight Proms organiser.

G4 will be accompanied by the Wight Proms Concert Orchestra, conducted by the Isle of Wight Symphony Orchestra's Jonathan Butcher.
