AN EMERGENCY road closure has been put in place in Shanklin this morning (Friday).
Island Roads says the closure is necessary to enable SGN to carry out emergency repairs.
Victoria Avenue has been closed, from its junction with Westhill Road to its junction with Highfield Road.
The diversion will affect Godshill Road, Whiteley Bank, Canteen Road, Newchurch Bridleway 33b, Ventnor Road, Newport Road, Sandown Road, Arthurs Hill, North Road, Queens Road, and High Street.
