The event is a one-day summer festival in aid of The Wight Brainy Bunch brain tumour charity, and this year featured performances from Foo Fighterz, Arctic Junkies, Mumma Mia and more!

Around 700 people attended the event, doubling last year’s attendance.

Organisers are still running the final figures but say the amount raised for The Wight Brainy Bunch is estimated to be close to £12,000, which is also nearly twice as much as last year.

All acts on the lineup brought their A game, and organisers say it highlights the number of talented musicians we have on the Island.

Four of the standout performances were Meg Rasmussen, Mumma Mia, Arctic Junkies and Foo Fighterz.

The Festival also featured Storm, The Ohmz, Spike Oatley, Dirty Li’l Secret and Baggywrinkles.

HUSH Silent Disco went down a treat with festival goers and will return to form part of Warrior Festival in 2023, said organisers.

Posting on its Facebook page, a spokesperson for the Festival said: “We had simply the BEST day at Warrior Festival 2022 on Saturday, and we have to thank each of you every one of you for making this event successful.

“To all our sponsors, the stage and sound crew, Biffa, AMP, HSS, our stallholders and children's entertainment.

“Huge thanks to Dan and all the staff and security at Sandown Airport.

“Extra special thanks to our incredible compere, Stan, all the brilliant Island bands, who selflessly gave up their time to be part of this event and of course all our festival revellers who partied on into the evening.

“We have always kept firmly in mind that events like this are about building memories, and for us, these will be never forgotten...

“We’re already planning and so excited for 2023!”
