THE Isle of Wight's carnival season continues today (Wednesday, August 3), with Shanklin's main procession this evening.
The Island town promises an evening of excitment and enjoyment for the whole family, with loads of floats, dancers and music.
Shanklin's carnival follows Newport and Sandown's, which took place on Saturday.
At Newport carnival, the Shanklin Queens' float - with an Aladdin theme - scooped the Best Float Award.
This year at Shanklin, there will be no judging taking place.
The main procession will gather at 6.30pm on Popham Road, and will get underway at 7pm.
