When Cowes Week returns, from July 30, it will bring plenty of sailing but no fireworks, nor a display by the Red Arrows.

For crews taking part, Cowes Yacht Haven will host the Cowes Week Opening Party on July 31 (wristbands to enter).

The official Cowes Week Competitors' Ball will be on August 3, at the Royal Ocean Racing Club, with the Queen's Platinum Jubilee and red/white and blue theme as its theme.

Prize Giving happens on Friday, August 5, followed by another party!

Cowes Parade, Cowes Yacht Haven and Northwood House will all host on-stage entertainment, including from Blonde Bombshell, Black Daniels, Stage Fright, The Dead Perrys and more.

Tuesday, August 2 is Women's Day - who make up around 40 per cent of competitors.

Events will include a Q and A about world-class female sailors, with The Magenta Project.

Family Day is on Sunday, July 31. Among the attractions will be Wight Tricks Academy (12pm-3pm, Regatta Village, Cowes Parade), where children can learn gymnastics, acrobatics and more on an 'airfloor'.

Blackgang Chine's RAWR-SOME Dinosaur Show is will be there between midday and 1pm.
