Who would have thought a bin-like object, branded up by Isle of Wight ferry firm Wightlink, would become the subject of a surreal comedy moment?
Broadcaster, actor and comedian Richard Ayoade has shared a picture on Twitter, simply titled 'After Magritte.'
The IT Crowd and Crystal Maze star's photo shows what looks like a bin...but has a Wightlink sign on it, to say it isn't.
Richard's Twitter reference is to the 1964 surrealist artwork, This is Not an Apple, by Rene Magritte.
Meanwhile, Wightlink has added its own comment on the matter.
The cross-Solent operator tweeted: "We empower our bins to write their own story."
