MEET artists in their studios and galleries — the popular Isle of Wight Arts event Open Studios is back!

Running from Friday, July 15, through to July 25, there's plenty of opportunity to admire the work of some of the Island's very best artistic talents.

From painting, sculpture and ceramics to jewellery making, textiles and glass art, this is your chance to meet the artists in their studios, to learn what inspires them and maybe take home a piece of their work.

More than 80 artists are taking part.

Artists will be exhibiting in studios around the Isle of Wight as well as in galleries and shops.

Sadly, unforeseen circumstances have meant the familiar guide that accompanies the event will not be available to pick up.

However, the last minute efforts of a group of local artists (including Deejavu Art, Seacycle Studios, Trish at Island Abstracts, Juliet Collins, Julie Sajous, Keith Coomber Art, Loren Brooks and the team at The Imaginarium) has enabled more information to be shared.

A handy flyer sporting the familiar Open Studios logo is being distributed, made possible with sponsorship by Beardsall Print and Blue by the Sea.

It will remind visitors of the dates, and will be available to pick up at venues across the Island.
