Dash splash and raise cash for Apsire Ryde on Sunday afternoon
On your marks for the 5k Dash and Splash tomorrow (Sunday, July 10) in aid of Aspire Ryde!
At 2pm tomorrow, runners will take on a route along the length of Sandown Bay.
There are 43 groynes to negotiate, most of which are a straight run through large gaps.
The remaining 14 will be splashed around which, at low tide, will mean the water is mostly ankle deep.

Two groynes could be waist deep and safety marshals will be in the water.
The fun run starts at Shanklin Rowing Club and finishes at Yaverland Sailing Club.
