The latest feature of Newport’s High Street, Cody’s offers a range of services.

Cody provides semi-permanent make-up, Emily does lashes and will soon further her skills in facial aesthetic treatments, Ellen is the team’s hairdresser, offering all hair treatments including extensions and Sophie, Cody’s new apprentice tattooist, is joining in August.

After hard work from Cody, her husband, family and friends, the salon was ready for its grand opening yesterday.

It was decided that a move from Northwood to Newport would provide an opportunity to expand the team further while making the salon more accessible to its new and returning clients.

Cody said: “It’s amazing to be on the High Street and see the town coming back to life after the pandemic took its toll on so many small businesses.

“I am feeling super grateful to have survived the rough patch everybody’s faced and being able to continue doing what I love.”

Cody’s, which was shortlisted for the British Hair and Beauty Awards 2022 in the semi-permanent make-up category, can be found in the former Amplifon site, next door to Hays Travel on the Upper High Street.
