Three heavy mini digger buckets, worth around £3,000, have been taken from Apse Heath.

Bolts on a garage door were forced open on Monday night, said D.H. Price Motors, in a social media post.

The firm, which is appealing for information, told the Isle of Wight County Press it was a 'nightmare,' when its teams were trying to carrying on with their work.

Hampshire Constabulary says the digger buckets went missing between 5.30pm on Monday, June 27 and 7am on Tuesday, June 28.

However, the force said more information was needed for police to take their investigation further.
