The Isle of Wight hosts the return of the Noël Turner Science Festival this week.

Children across the Island will get the chance to watch explosive science demos, take part in hands-on workshops and meet businesses, including the universities of Southampton and Winchester, GKN Aerospace, Johnson Electric and Dinosaur Isle.

Founded in 2016, in memory of BAE Systems radar engineer, Noël Turner, it is all aimed at inspiring young minds.

In 2019, Winchester Science Centre took over the event's organisation, in a bid to promote the STEM - or key science - subjects.

The Noël Turner Science Festival will return to Cowes Enterprise College on Thursday, June 30 and Friday, July 1, from 10am to 2pm.
