A COWES woman will stand trial later this year, accused of damaging a Tesla.
Claire Heeley, of Pallance Road, appeared before Isle of Wight magistrates yesterday (Tuesday).
The 26-year-old is charged with criminal damage to a Tesla, on December 16, 2021.
She is alleged to have caused £1,061.29 worth of damage.
The court heard Ms Heeley accepted she had touched the vehicle but denied causing any damage.
Prosecutor, Ann Smout, told the bench video footage was available.
Ms Heeley saw her case adjourned for a trial on September 22.
She was granted unconditional bail.
