Days after fellow Take That star Mark Owen played Isle of Wight Festival's Big Top (packing out the tent and then some), Gary Barlow has announced a new Portsmouth date for his sold out November shows.

A Different Stage arrives at the city's New Theatre Royal, close to Portsmouth Guildhall, in November.

Gary was already due to play there between November 8 and November 11, but all the dates had already sold out.

Now there's good news for fans because he has added a further date, on Monday, November 7. Tickets go on sale Friday 24th June at 9:30am HERE.

Created by Gary and his long-time friend and collaborator Tim Firth, the show sees Gary narrate the journey of his life, alongside the music from his career.

He said: I've done shows where it has just been me and a keyboard. I've done shows where I sit and talk to people. I've done shows where I've performed as part of a group.

"But this one? It’s like all of those, but none of them. When I walk out this time, it's going to be a very different stage altogether."
