HAVE you heard of the MacNaughton-Howe Arts and Crafts Festival?

It has been around since 1955 and is held in Ventnor every year, with profits going to local charities.

Over the last few years, the number of exhibitors has dwindled and then, like many other groups, Covid brought it to a complete standstill.

Organisers are delighted to be back, after October 2021’s event showed there is still interest and visitor numbers were good.

This year, the show will be held on October 28 and 29 at St Catherine’s Church.

There are new categories for people to enter, and organisers can offer a collection of entries for those unable to attend on set-up day.

There are 87 different categories and all age groups can enter. Examples are needlework, photography, poems and paintings.

There's a new website at www.macnaughtonhowe.co.uk and a Facebook page.
