IF YOU see low-flying aircraft — don't worry, it's just an exercise.
Multiple aircraft, including a Boeing 727, are due to conduct dynamic low-level manoeuvring from 7am to 4pm today (Tuesday).
This is for a simulated oil spill response and will include test spraying over the sea.
The aircraft's planned route will take them over the Isle of Wight, passing over Ventnor, Newport and Cowes.
A similar exercise took place around the same time last year.
