A RYDE man accused of causing shards of glass to hit a woman's face by hurling a jar at her during a row, will stand trial at a court on the Isle of Wight
Eamonn Loughlin, of High Street, denied assaulting a woman by beating on March 1 when he appeared at the Isle of Wight Magistrates' Court.
The 28-year-old was bailed to reappear for trial at the same venue on July 28.
UPDATE August 5: Mr Loughlin was found not guilty and the case was dismissed.
