A VENTNOR man will stand trial later this year, accused of multiple motoring offences.

Tony Rollins, of High Street, appeared before Isle of Wight magistrates on Tuesday (May 17).

The 38-year-old is charged with being in charge of a motor vehicle while over the drink-drive limit, in Shanklin, on April 30.

He is also charged with driving while disqualified and being in possession of cannabis, in Shanklin, on the same day.

Mr Rollins' case was adjourned for a trial on July 20.

He was granted unconditional bail.
