RED JET is running a late-night service to accommodate Isle of Wight football fans heading to Southampton’s Premier League tie against Liverpool at St Mary's Stadium tonight (Tuesday).

Saints, who sit in 15th, will be looking to push up towards midtable before travelling to the King Power to face Leicester on the final day (Sunday, May 22).

Liverpool head into this game following FA Cup triumph against Chelsea and must win to stay in the title race, with three points bringing them to within a point of Manchester City going into their final match against Wolves.

Can Southampton crush Liverpool’s dreams of the quadruple?

Red Jet's late-night services are as follows:

  • Southampton to Cowes – 10.20pm (normally 10pm)
  • Cowes to Southampton – 10.55pm (normally 10.35pm)
  • Southampton to Cowes – 11.30pm (normally 11.10pm)
  • Cowes to Southampton – 12.05am (normally 11.45pm)

A spokesperson from Red Funnel said: "Sailings from Southampton can get extremely busy after Saints FC fixtures, and our maximum capacity limits the number of passengers we can carry on each trip.

"Please arrive as early as possible to avoid disappointment."

If you are unable to make the last Red Jet sailing, there is a 11.55am vehicle ferry sailing from Southampton to East Cowes.
