Dash in the Dark is coming to the Isle of Wight!

The fundraiser, for Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance, is a popular 5km night-time fun run.

It is coming to Seaclose Park, Newport, on Saturday, October 8.

As the sun sets and the night draws in, friends, family and supporters of the life-saving charity are encouraged to light up the night and dash their way around the course while covered head to toe in neon paint and fancy dress.

Runners and walkers of all ages and abilities can take part in the family-friendly event, with every penny raised helping the charity to treat the most critically ill and injured patients in the region.

Isle of Wight County Press:

Director of income and engagement, Keith Wilson, said: “Dash in the Dark is a highlight of our year. It is incredibly exciting that we’re now able to bring this event to our dedicated supporters on the Island who have played such a huge part in this charity’s history.

"Since the first Dash in 2019, over £56,000 has been raised — all going towards helping those who are in desperate need of emergency critical care.”
