Five Isle of Wight bands and singer/songwriters taking part in Platform One's Wight Noize competition will battle it tomorrow night (Saturday), for a chance to play at the Isle of Wight Festival, on Main Stage.
Beth Brookfield, Now Only, Greek Tragedies, Chicks and The Optimists will each perform four songs at Strings Bar and Venue, from 7pm.
A winner will be announced the next day (Sunday, May 15).
Prizes include the chance to open Festival Sunday, as well as industry support and gigs.

Tickets are available on the door for Wight Noize.
Meanwhile Platform One music college, which organises the competition with its patron, Festival Promoter John Giddings, will host all the finalists on their own stage in the main arena, the the festival.
