If you find yourself looking for a shady spot this weekend, you may not be the only one as temperatures are set to soar to highs of 18C on the Isle of Wight.
The weather this month has been particularly hit or miss, with some gloriously sunny spells and a fair few grey moments.
But things are really starting to look up, at least for now anyway, with wall to wall sunshine predicted for most of the weekend it’s finally time to get the barbeque out.

Today the Met Office predicts a clear and sunny day with plenty of of sunshine and highs of 15C in Freshwater.
